Dean Atkins

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Dean is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at NorthBridge Partners, a commercial real estate investment firm, where he shares responsibility for directing the firm's overall strategy, serves as General Counsel, and leads business development

Prior to NorthBridge, Dean led national and international accounts for the commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm, Transwestern/RBJ. Previously, he was a lawyer in the corporate real estate section at Mintz Levin where he ran a comprehensive national leasing and asset management program for a multi-billion-dollar real estate private equity firm. At Mintz, Dean was awarded the Pro Bono Publico Award along with his team members by the American Bar Association for his work in passing legislation designed to protect the victims of sexual harassment.

Dean is also an active member on several boards and committees in the greater Boston community. He is a member of the board of the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance (MHSA) where he recently served as Chair, a member of the Council of Overseers for the Massachusetts Historical Society, past President of the Business Associates Club, and a board member of Inversant. In addition, Dean is co-founder of Coffee Connectors, a program designed to connect first generation college graduates with executives in the Boston business community.

Dean graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College Law School and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa and awarded the Morris Medal for best thesis in History.

Dean lives in his hometown of Concord, MA with his wife (Meredith), daughters (Caroline and Emma), and son (Will).

Greg Lauze

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Greg is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at NorthBridge Partners where he shares responsibility for directing the firm's overall strategy and leads acquisitions, asset management and debt/equity fundraising.

Over his career Greg has worked in a wide variety of roles within the real estate private equity industry including acquisitions, asset management, fundraising, portfolio management and research. Prior to NorthBridge Greg was a Director at Colony Capital, where he worked in various capacities including acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management. Greg also worked as an Associate at The Blackstone Group in New York working on both equity and debt real estate funds. Greg began his career as an Analyst in the Boston office of Jones Lang LaSalle, formerly known as Spaulding & Slye. Over the course of his career, Greg has worked on well over $1 billion in total direct real estate transactions.

Greg was appointed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to serve on the MassDOT Real Estate Appraisal Review Board which offers final recommendations on property valuation taken by eminent domain. Greg also serves on several local community groups in the North Shore of Boston.

Greg earned a B.S. from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University and has passed the FINRA Series 7, 79 and 63 exams.

Greg lives in Hamilton, MA with his wife (Kristen), daughter (Anna) and son (Ben).

Kimberly Cinnamond Galardi

Education: BA Lehigh University

Kimberly joined NorthBridge Partners in 2017 as a Director focused on Asset Management including annual business planning, leasing and property management. Kimberly has over 13 years of real estate experience primarily in Asset Management, Investments Sales, Leasing and Operations.

Prior to joining NorthBridge, Kim was an Asset Manager at High Street Realty Company, a real estate private equity firm that has acquired over $1.6 billion in properties. At High Street Kim managed a 5 million square foot portfolio of industrial, office and flex assets across multiple US markets. Prior to that, she was an Associate on the Investment Sales team at Transwestern/RBJ. Kim began her career at Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly Spaulding & Slye) where she held multiple research, leasing and operations positions.

Kim lives in Swampscott, MA with her husband (Eric) and son (Jack).

George Gregory

Director of Acquisitions

Background: JLL, Triumvirate Environmental
Education: MBA Boston University, B.A. Bates College

George joined NorthBridge Partners in 2018 as a Director of Acquisitions where he focuses on sourcing and closing new acquisitions.

Prior to NorthBridge, George worked as a Vice President in JLL's Boston Capital Markets group, where he focused on investment sales and debt/equity placement initiatives. George formed a particular focus on industrial product, including distribution warehouse and light industrial assets, completing over 7 million square feet of industrial transactions throughout New England. Prior to JLL, George worked at Triumvirate Environmental, a Boston based environmental services firm.

George earned a B.A. from Bates College as well as an MBA from Boston University, with a concentration in finance. He is an active member of both REFA and NAIOP in Boston.

George lives in Charlestown, MA with his wife (Katherine), daughter (Grace) and son (George).

Charles Levine

Education: MBA, Fordham University, B.A. Boston University

Charles Levine joined NorthBridge Partners in 2016 as a Director focused on Capital Markets and Operations. Charles has over 11 years of real estate experience primarily in real estate debt capital markets with a focus on CMBS, MBS and Agency debt (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae).

Prior to joining NorthBridge, Charles worked at Colliers Boston leading the financial analysis team supporting leasing brokerage groups in the Boston office. Previously he worked as an MBS Broker at BGC Partners (a public spin-off of Cantor Fitzgerald). Prior to that, he worked as a CMBS underwriter for Situs Companies focused on the Credit Suisse platform and at the Vintage Group, LLC helping source, acquire and manage rent stabilized apartment properties in New York City.

Charles is a member of the Business Associates Club in Boston and lives in downtown Boston with his wife (Becca) and daughter (Olivia).

Brian Orr

Portfolio Manager

Education: Bowdoin (BA)

Brian serves as Portfolio Manager at NorthBridge providing oversight and risk management related to NorthBridge's investment process as well as overseeing fund and partnership level activities for the firm.

Prior to joining NorthBridge, Brian spent 8 years AEW Capital Management responsible for sourcing, structuring and underwriting new investment opportunities throughout the U.S. During his tenure at AEW, Mr. Orr has completed over $3 billion acquisitions across a variety of property types. Brian originally joined AEW in 2010 as an asset manager with responsibility for approximately five million square feet of commercial space. Before joining AEW, he worked with Jones Lang LaSalle as an analyst for their downtown leasing and investment sales teams. Brian is also a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts.

Owen Hall

Owen joined NorthBridge Partners in 2017 as a Director focused on acquisitions, due diligence and asset management.

With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Owen has worked in a wide variety of roles and asset classes. Prior to NorthBridge, Owen worked as an Executive Vice President at Hall Investment Holdings/HallKeen Management, where he focused on acquisitions and asset management of commercial and multifamily investments. Owen also worked as an Associate at STAG Capital Partners (now STAG Industrial), where he sourced and closed single tenant office and industrial real estate acquisitions throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast. Before STAG, Owen was as an Investment Analyst for Forest City Science + Technology Group overseeing their Biotech and Lab investment/development investments.

Crystal Kamberalis

Office Manager and Executive Assistant

Crystal serves as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Managing Partners.

Prior to joining NorthBridge, Crystal was a Marketing Coordinator Associate financial representative at Northwestern Mutual and prior was an Associate Financial Representative Executive Assistant. She also worked at Baystate Wealth Management in Operations and at MacDonald Insurance and Financial Services as an Executive Assistant.

Denny Hall

Chairman of the Board of Advisors

Background: Managing Member of Hall Investment Holdings, LLC
Education: BA Yale University

Denison is Chairman of the Board of Advisors at NorthBridge Partners. His more than forty years in the real estate industry started in the early 1970s with the Rouse Company in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for mortgage banking services. From 1973 to 1975, Mr. Hall was Vice President of Mitchell Mortgage & Development, Houston, TX. In 1977, he became the Executive Vice President for Greater Boston Development, Inc. now known as Boston Capital Services, Inc., Boston, MA. Under his leadership, the company acquired interests in nearly 25,000 multi-family units. In 1989, he co-founded Hall Properties, Inc., a real estate investment and development firm.

Mr. Hall has focused his attention on the acquisition and development of commercial real estate, both for his own account and for institutional clients. He has substantial experience in the acquisition and development of office, R&D, retail, biotech, industrial, and multi-family properties. In addition to his interest in 4,500 units of affordable housing and Assisted Living, Mr. Hall has interests in a portfolio of 360,000 square feet of office and flex industrial property. Past projects include the acquisition, renovation, and sale of a 400,000 SF suburban office campus in Concord, MA; the acquisition, renovation, and sale of a 500,000 SF suburban office campus in Marlborough, MA, and the acquisition, renovation and new construction of 300,000 SF biomedical facility in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Hall is a graduate of Yale University.


Chet Atkins

Senior Advisor

Background: President ADS Ventures, U.S. House of Representatives
Education: BA Antioch College

Chet Atkins is a Senior Advisor at NorthBridge Partners focused on State and Local Incentive Consulting, Permitting, and Government Advocacy.

Chet also serves as President of ADS Ventures, Inc. which he founded in 1993 after a career in public service that spanned more than 20 years. In 1970, Chet became the youngest person ever elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Two years later, Chet won a seat in the Massachusetts State Senate where he served for more than 10 years. During his tenure in the Senate, Chet served as Chairman of the Senate Ways and Means Committee where he led reforms to modernize the state's budgeting process. Chet was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1984 representing the 5th District of Massachusetts and served as Member of the House Appropriations, Foreign Affairs, Ethics and Budget Committees until his retirement from elective office in 1994.

Since leaving Congress, Chet has led a number of initiatives to utilize private capital to achieve public purposes and has organized successful public funding initiatives for organizations in the education, healthcare, high tech and real estate development industries. He also has served as an election observer and legislative trainer for newly elected governments in Cambodia, Yemen, Albania, Russia, Republic of Georgia and Peru.

A longtime director and chairman of the board of New England Health Enterprises, Chet recently worked with management to sell the company to Alliance HealthCare Services. Chet was a founding board member and chairman of the Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) in San Francisco. CJA has led numerous initiatives to bring human rights abusers to justice. Chet has served on the boards of Amnesty International, Oxfam America, Emerson Hospital, Cambridge College, Plymouth Plantation, Refugees International, GrainPro, Inc., US Trust Company, and Walden Bank Corp.


Jamie Hoyte

Senior Advisor

Background: Assistant to the President at Harvard University, MA Secretary of Environmental Affairs
Education: JD Harvard Law School, A.B. Harvard University

Jamie Hoyte is an In-House Advisor at NorthBridge Partners focused on Institutional and Non-Profit clients and environmental issues for NorthBridge including sustainability in real estate.

Jamie previously spent 16 years at Harvard University as Assistant to the President and Associate Vice President. He was also a Lecturer on Environmental Sciences and Public Policy at Harvard College, Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy at the Kennedy School of Government and a Faculty Associate of the Harvard University Center for the Environment.

From 1983 through 1988, Hoyte served as Massachusetts Secretary of Environmental Affairs. In this role Hoyte was responsible for the planning and management of all environmental and natural resource conservation policies and programs for the Commonwealth. As Secretary of Environmental Affairs, Hoyte was also the founding Chairman of the Board of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority. In this capacity Hoyte oversaw the agency during the planning and design of the Boston Harbor Clean-Up project as well as the initial planning for a program to augment the drinking water supply of Eastern Massachusetts. Hoyte also served as Secretary-Treasurer and Director of Administration and Finance for the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) from 1976 to 1979.

Hoyte received his A.B. degree Cum Laude in Government from Harvard College and J.D. from Harvard Law School. He later completed The Program in Management Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Hoyte has published articles in the fields of environmental policy and management, and serves on the Board of Directors for numerous environmental and civic organizations including the Posse Foundatin, the Massachusetts Environmental Trust, the Museum of African-American History, The Trustees of Reservations, the Union of Concerned Scientists, the Boston Natural Areas Network, and Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. With his extensive background in the governance of non-profit and institutions of higher education, Jamie has served on the boards of trustees of Wheaton College, Cambridge College and Bryant College.


Mike Phillips

Senior Advisor

Background: Highland Consumer Fund, H.I.G. Capital LLC, Bain and Company
Education: MBA, Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, B.A. Princeton University

Mike is a Senior Advisor at Northbridge Partners focused on investment advisory, fundraising, and general strategy.

Mike also serves as a Partner at the Highland Consumer Fund which he joined in 2017 to focus on investments and buyouts in the consumer, retail, and services space. Prior to Highland, Mike was a Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital LLC, a leading middle market private equity firm. He joined H.I.G. in 2004 and helped build the firm's Boston office while leading investments in the firm's LBO funds. In his role, he frequently addressed commercial real estate strategies for his portfolio companies both as part of structuring initial investments and to support companies' growth and expansion. Before joining H.I.G. Capital, he was a Consultant with Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, where he directed diligence efforts for leading private equity investors and developed growth and operational strategies for mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to Bain, he was an Investment Professional with Electra Partners, a London based private equity firm focused in investing in lower middle companies. He started his career in the investment banking group of Lehman Brothers.

He has held positions on the Board of Directors of HFI, Inc., Westaff, Insight Global, AERT, Lucas Group, Next Generation Vending and Food Service, ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, nextSource, and Constructive Media.

Mike graduated cum Laude from Princeton University with a BSE in Electrical Engineering and also received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Palmer Scholar.
